I've been asked to sing and play the harp solo in Lazy at a United Way
Charity concert. I was wondering if anyone knew what key of harp is
used?

Thanks!

Ah yes... Deep Purple's Lazy. Perfect for any church bake sale or
bourbon frisbee party on the grass.

If your group is playing in the original key that Deep Purple uses
(G), you will be best served with a "C" major diatonic harmonica. If
they are playing in some other key, choose the major 4th of whatever
key signature they are using.

Or maybe I am extrapolating this too far and you may be singing and
playing the harp solo in Lazy by yourself... Nah! that's way out
there. You'd be looking like Napoleon Dynamite or something weird...
well maybe it would work.

Have a blast with Lazy. It's a great blues shuffle with attitude when
delivered properly. The harp part is simple, short and tasty. Honk
it out!

Cheers,
Skeeter.

Watch out, this song changes key a few times. I'm pretty sure the harp
solo is in A.

From another thread asking the same question:

It starts in F.

Then it changes to G for the lyric verses and the harmonica solo.

Then it changes to A for the finale.
Which key for Lazy of Deep Purple ?
