Could anybody give me adress of any store that sells Suzuki harps , and
would sell them to Europe (Croatia) . I find a lot of them selling just USA
.
What do you mean about Suzukis for beginners , what I am . I find them to be
very beautifull . Are they so good too ?
Thx from Croatia .

Hello Jura, check out the following URL to Harmonicas Direct.

http://www.harmonicas-direct.com/index2.html

Peter of Harmonicas Direct sells to countries all over the world so he
should be able to help you.

I too use Suzuki. I have Bluesmaster and Promaster. The Promaster is
good and loud but after a while it makes my lips sore. It has an
aluminium comb.
The Bluesmaster is good. It has a plastic comb. I will fit MR350
reedplates when it needs replacing. That will make it even better.

I have not used many other makes of harp because I find Suzuki
suitable for me and it is expensive to try them all.

Hello Sebastian, Folks have been missing your playing on HarmonicaJam
(the new URL is harmonicajam instead of harmonicaboogie).

There are a number of new players on the site.

Jura, My experience with Suzuki Bluesmasters is that Suzuki makes good
harps for that price. I've been thinking of buying some more for
practice harps. I tried one of the Suzuki Overdrive harps (valved for
easier bends) that sounded good and played easily but for my
occasionally covering the valve holes on the top with my fingers and
smothering the notes. I don't play it very often. I've heard good
things about the Suzuki Promaster (at nearly twice the price of a
Bluesmaster) - but I just tend to mostly play Hohner Marine Bands and
Golden Melodies.

That's sounds expensive. But then I rarely ship things across the
world. Maybe European shipping would be cheaper with Hohner or Seydel
from Germany?

Yep, I wanted a Suzuki, just to compare it to Hohner - so I think I'll
just get a Hohner next time.....they are available everywhere in Europe

Harp online is based in Europe (Germany): http://www.harponline.de/
They ship to Croatia.

I've heard good things of them, but don't have personal experience with
them.

With bluesharps (which, I guess, you're looking for) from the big brands
(Hohner, Suzuki, Seydel) it's a bit like cola and pepsi. Above EUR20
they're all ok. Be sure to get a plastic comb.

If you're looking for a chromatic: Suzuki players usually are happy with
their instruments (be sure to get the new range). In Europe they are
quite a bit more expensive than the Hohners and Seydels though.
