It was just "OK." Decent sound and I like the shape of the mic with the
finger insets, but compared to some other vintage mics I use, it doesn't
have the depth of sound / grit that I like. For example, I have a Shure 440
retrofitted with a CR element and volume pot that I use a lot for that thick
sound.
The Superlux is a tad on the treble side for my tastes. I bought it to
satisfy my curiosity about what looked like a reasonably priced bullet clone
(costs me $70 + shipping), and I think it meets that expectation. (The 440,
by comparison, was well over $200. Pricey but it nails the tone, IMHO.)
If the Superlux doesn't sell, I'll keep it as a decent backup.
Hope that helps.

Jonny,I'm assuming you are a blues harp player. What didn't you like about
this mic? Allen
