Hi all,
Sorry my first post is a plug for my own product but I'd just like to
draw you attention to an inexpensive product I have developed as a
working musician/teacher which has helped a lot in ensemble playing,
practising and teaching. The extender is a 1metre x 0.5metre,
lightweight and easily portable 'desk' . It can hold scores up to five
A4 size pages wide. Its 5cm deep accessory tray holds pens, pencils,
and spectacles etc. It simply rests on a conventional music stand
without additional fasteners. When not required on the stand it folds
to 30cm x 30 cm for transportation, storage etc.
Read endorsements and see pics and purchase at :

Thanks .

Yeah. Can't really tell from the picture, it does look that way a
bit. I do know that most band rooms, concert halls, they usually use
those nice solid steel ones with the black coating. Those last for
years and years, so with some modfications of better materials that
might work. That is a good prototype though. I like the idea. It
wouldn't work for full scale orchestra because it takes up too much
room, but with ensembles it just might be kind of useful.

I think if I had a big piece of music that would be especially
usefull. Turning pages during rehearsal really sucks. Many pieces
could be splayed out just about totally that way.

A better idea might be one with better steel, and the ability to fold
it up for standard size or larger size. It could be folded out
whenever needed, or folded up when in larger groups or when room is
needed between the players.
